Chennai Super Kings hold nerve in tight game over Pune Warriors

Dhoni's Chennai have defeated Ganguly's Pune by 13 runs

Chennai Super Kings registered their successive win in MA Chidambaram stadium riding on their smashing bowling line up. The situation did not seem to be rosy for the last year's IPL champion team after three defeats in five matches in Indian Premier League 5. Everyone would admit that Chennai Super kings performed enough inconsistently in this season.

Pune Warriors on the other hand had their own set of problems as their lead pacer Ashok Dinda suffered from a side strain. However, it was quite expected that the contest in MA Chidambaram stadium would be a very exciting one. Pune's captain Ganguly won the toss and decide to field first.

Chennai's Fat du Plessis and Subramaniam Badrinath's 48-balls 58 (4x4's, 2x6's) and 48-balls 57 (4x4's) innings respectively made the host team to set a target of 165 runs for Pune Warriors India. CSK captain Dhoni's 12-balls 28 runs quick innings was also helpful.
