Sydney Sixers 2012 Champions League Twenty20 Champions

The sydney sixers skipper has attributed their championship win to their 'outstanding' preparations right throughout the tournament and the sydney beat against Lions team by 10 wickets in the final to clinch the cash rich 2012 Champions League Twenty20 tournament in Johannesburg on Sunday and the preparation for this game was outstanding to we have been building for the win for two weeks to we were nervous before the semifinals but we played very good cricket as a team.

The sydney sixes won the toss chose to field first and lion team start gulam bodi smashed the off-spinner for a six off the third ball of the match and the Bodi, de Kock and McKenzie had all thrown their wickets away to careless and reckless batting and the O'Keefe then dismissed the Lions captain, Alviro Petersen in the 4th over score a miserable 10/4 all rounder performances for the Jean Symes was fighting 51 runs off 46 deliveries and Lions 121 all out for 20 overs.

And the Sydney Sixers innings target for 122 runs from 20 overs and the Dirk nannes and Sohail bowled well early on and the breathtaking unbeaten 124 run opening partnership between Michael Lumb 82 runs off 42 deliveries and skipper Haddin played a good supportive role as captain with a fine 37 off 33 balls and the Sixers kept a clean slate in the tournament winning six out of six and were the deserved champions and Michael Lumb is the man of the match and Mitchell Starc has Man of the Series award.
